examples of organizations that worked on achieving this goal

WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature)
The WWF
works in nearly 100 countries and collaborates with people around the world to
develop and deliver innovative solutions that protect and help communities,
wildlife, and the places in which they live. (worldwildlife/ABOUT US)
In September
2015, the Member States of the UN agreed the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable
Development, to address economic, social and environmental areas of sustainable
development in a steady manner. Included are 17 Sustainable Development Goals
(SDGs) with 169 targets.
There are 12
targets that merge elements of the Aichi Biodiversity Targets. These 12 targets
fall within five goal areas one of which is the SDG 15 (Life on Land).

UNDP (United Nations Development Programme)
The UNDP
partners with people at all levels of society to help build nations that can
withstand crisis, and drive and sustain the kind of growth that improves the
quality of life for everyone. With offices in more than 177 countries. UNDP
worked with governments to mobilize the skills and ideas of different
stakeholders and now has an important role to advocate for the central role of
local governments and development actors to localize the SDGs. (saudiarabia.undp/What we do)
Saudi Arabia
is witnessing economic prosperity and progress in all domains. The country has
ranked 39th on the 2018 Global Human Development Index, which puts it on the
high development countries. The country is working on diversifying its economy
which is an area that UNDP works on.
Urgent action must be taken to reduce the loss
of natural habitats. and support peace and security. That why both of these
organizations have goals that are stated above, in addition to that both of
these organizations work hand in hand to help improve quality of life by saving
the environment.
